Reading and preferences

The reader does not require registration. It does not include an advertising or behavioral-analytics SDK.

Your browser stores choices such as interface language, Greek rendition and illustration preference. These preferences stay in browser storage; clearing this site’s browser data removes them. The selected passage and language may also appear in a shared link.

Hosting and media

Cloudflare delivers the website and media. Loading a page or recording sends normal connection information, including your IP address and the requested URL, to the hosting provider. Cloudflare may process request and security information under its own policies.

Playing a saved recording requests an existing media file. It does not send your reading to a speech-generation provider or create a new paid recording. A device-voice fallback, where offered, uses the matching local device voice.

Illustration reports

An illustration report contains the image identity, verse, selected issue and time. We do not ask for your name, email or a free-text message in that form. Reports are kept privately for review and duplicate prevention; there is no fixed automatic deletion period.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks the report before it is accepted. A verification token is sent to Cloudflare and is not kept in the illustration report. A temporary rate-limit key derived from the connection’s IP address helps prevent abuse; the report itself does not store that IP address. The hosting and challenge providers may still process connection information.
